If we paid the price to make things in North America at our own factories, they'd be very expensive, but really, we'd be more discriminating in our purchases, have less and be happier. I've seen kids with rooms overflowing with toys made in China and complaining there is nothing to do. If they had less, they could SEE what they have and be happier having fewer GOOD toys than truck loads of cheap, breakable, leadpainted and dangerous toys.

nnn that is hilarious, you have no idea, these people dream of earning $15 a day, that would be closer to their monthly salary. The point is though that working in these "sweat shops" is far far better than begging on the streets or working down a coal mine, which for many chinese people are the only other options. Cheap foreign labour may seem horrible, but for most of these people it has saved their life!
