This guy is such a douche bag. No facts, just statements like "the math works." If solar and wind were so cheap and so effective, why are we having to be forced/pummeled into accepting these "cheap, clean, efficient (lmao)" technologies. If that was really the case, the markets would have demanded them a long time ago.

Here's hoping. It doesn't take many people like him getting on board and the end will soon come for dirty power sources.

Umm, okay. And what expertise and experience does the Google CEO have to be commenting on energy sources? This may be a "neat" soundbite for alternative energy proponents, but this is no different than listening to some famous actress weigh the various costs and efficiencies of power sources: worthless. Give me a subject matter expert that understand that 3000 Mw is not huge when compared to the energy needs of the global economy and maybe it will be worth watching.

Latest comment: Why are we only allowed to turn our computers off for 1 hour a day? Mine's only on for 1 hour a day, so I'd be using 23 times as much power. Nice logic you tit wank.

If people turned off their computer for 1 hour per day, how much energy would that save?
