I've seen these type of sculptures at the beach and i noticed that the ppl that make them have to keep them damp so they stick together... does anyone know if these ones coverd with a glue after they are finished to stop them falling to bits?

Yeah they add stuff (not sure what exactly, but not just water) to the sand for these competitions.
