Poland has changed enormously over the past twenty years and its economy has proven to be resistant to economic nightmares. It is the only European country that did not go into recession during the current economic crisis.

A lot of the Irish got lazy and foriegners did get the jobs that some of us would'nt do. The poles spent little or nothing in our economy and sent the most of their wages back to Poland. They also milked our social welfare system which is too soft anyway. Now we will tighten up and they will go back but the most of a generation of Irish now dont know what hard work is.

"Poland will soon enter the euro-zone which will further ensure its stability and conditions for long-term development" Didn't they think that in Ireland too?
