Yeah, works great for numbers that go into each other neatly. Try 285 divided by 21, smart arse !

Latest comment: 21, 42, 84, 168 | 285 - 168 = 117 | 117-84 = 33 | 33-21 = 12 | 1+4+8 = 12 |Answer 13 remainder 12 or 13+12/21. I prefer it over long division any day but there is a lot of room for making mistakes...

So 17*25 = 1*25 + 16*25 a grand revelation! And 1075/25 = (800+200+50+25) / 25 Immensely convenient. Questionable benefit for humans...
