Nice "snappy" phrase you've got there. It won't catch on though: there's no truth to it, and it's hard to teach Stupid Americans even basic stuff.

Well, as to the truth. Many Americans are ignorant, particularly with respect to matters which don't seem to impact their lives much. The truth is you can make any people appear stupid in polls and street interviews. Except perhaps the English who shunt most of their underclass onto restricted access housing estates making them more difficult to interview.

^^ Surely you're not serious? Do you truly believe that the English herd the sub-smart populous into restricted areas in order to stop them from being interviewed? Did Fox "News" tell you that?

I lived in England for eight years. At first I was impressed, there were some rough parts sure but less than in most U.S. cities the same size. Then I went into my first housing estate. After that I looked at a map and found them all over the place, one road in, one road out, all the have-nots left to stew out of sight. You've got nothing to feel superior about.

So essentially, its the lack of multiple roads into housing estates that makes you believe that they're "restricted access housing" for the poor? People in Britain are free to travel as they wish: Unlike Americans. I'd also draw your attention to a similar housing area with one road in and one out. It's a little area called "Downing Street". You Idiot.

So it's for their security? That takes the prize. Go and live on one of those council estates for a month or two. Security is the last thing you have. Sure they can travel as they wish, all they need is money, which is what they haven't got. And of course when they do go out they will be under observation by the millions of video cameras your government has installed.

@ pafcscotty - We STILL own them, even though they think that their War of Independence won them their freedom ..!! That's why they pay Income Tax and certain laws of theirs need to be ratified by Ol' Lizzie II .. When you see a Yank flag with a gold border around it ( think peace-keepers, soldiers, court rooms ) that's because they're under British Maritime Law .. ( and for all the ignorant nay sayers and undeducated Yanks, go do some basic research ... read it and weep ) .. !
