Similar to the UK under Thatcher.Dismantle production and manufacturing, Put millions out of work, have all the wealth based on the south of England produced by banks and other financial institutions. Deregulate these institutions causing greed to lead to their collapse in 2008. Meanwhilst the wealthy became even more wealthy at the expense of all of us. Capitalism gone mad.

We'll have to wait until enough of the 99% is unemployed before they use their voting power to remedy the situation. Those who still have a job are likely to get fired by the 1% for leaving work on voting Tuesday.

We still can't even sustain ourselves, independently from Europe, by growing our own food; the very reason why rationing went on for so long after WW2. To place all the UK's eggs in one basket (financial services) is and was a great mistake to make, as it has been proven and quite obvious that financial services cannot be trusted.
