San Diego fireworks fail

San Diego fireworks fail

(0:29) Independence Day celebrations in San Diego didn't go quite to plan. The 'Big Bay Boom' fireworks show was set to last 15 minutes, but due to a technical fault, all fireworks shot their load within 30 seconds.

On a personal note, I feel like that's happened to me before.

As technical faults go, that was pretty spectacular, even if it was shorter than the planned event.

Ha Ha what a joke. It makes me hang my head in shame that we could be so stupid as to set all the fireworks off all at once, this is the kind of thing we expect from the Russians, who's laughing now?

There is no "WE" in "setting off" of those fireworks. All modern displays like the 1 in San Diego are completely computer controlled. Really, the Russians, clearly G.I. Joes' hayday was the 1980's
