And as such I wouldn't dream of pointing out the grammatical error of using "wrong" in that sentence as opposed to "wrongly" in the correct usage........

I really don't think it's such a hard concept to grasp and a 5 minute banal experiment doesn't bring much insight. The main point of the experiment seems to be that the egocentric Dutch professor can act like a showman...

To show that gravity acts on the bullet as well as the monkey, which is why the bullet did not fly over the monkey's head.

Latest comment: Most people would think that to hit the monkey, the bullet has to travel fast enough to reach the monkey's head before it drops. But this experiment shows that actually it doesn't matter how fast the bullet is going. That is because the gravity pulling the monkey down to the ground, is also pulling the bullet down at the same rate. So a fast bullet will hit the monkey near the ceiling, but a slower bullet will still hit the monkey, only slightly later and near the floor.
