If you are going to invite someone on your show to have a debate then really you should let them debate and not talk over them all the time.

Hm. They're both simplifying things. Bill Maher is wrong to suggest that other violence and murder doesn't take place in the name of other religions. Burma should've taught him that this week, if nothing else - Buddhist fundamentalists anyone? Or hows about Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland? That is nowadays. Islam may be easier to twist by extremist elements, and certainly is more exciting to read about, but it doesn't hold a monopoly on dangerous religion idiots. Neither is it right to say that the USA is particularly welcoming to all faiths, particularly when guys like Maher want to blame the many for the actions of a few.

There was a UK Muslim bomber who (when caught) said he was either thinking of becoming a male model or a terrorist!

Normally I can't stand Bill Maher, but in this clip, he's right about one thing: Islam is different. Try to think "Buddhist extremist" or "Christian Extremist." Who are they and what have you seen them do? For Christian extremist, I think of the Westboro people and, at their very worst, they picket. Further, the rest of Christendom is disgusted with such "extremism." Meanwhile, Moslem extremists fly planes into buildings and plant bombs and behead "infidels" and the mass of "moderate" Moslems either applaud or give silent assent.

"The most welcoming country in the World"? If it is so welcoming why is he a civil rights attorney?
