Dog mourns death of beaver

Dog mourns death of beaver

(6:51) So sad. From YT: Bella and Beavis played ball together, shared living quarters, ate together, etc. They lived and loved together for quite a while. Beavis died this morning, and Bella has been in mourning for hours.

I don't want to be insensitive to poor Bella and the late Beavis, but WTF. 7 minute of this? A d dog whining and licking the fur off a dead beaver's butt cheek. Bury it, move on with your life.

the dog wants to eat the damn think, and it's crying because he can't do that as long as the owners are there. He's waiting for them to leave but the pricks keep filming.

First: who on earth keeps a beaver as a pet? Okay, the pet died. I'm perfectly willing to be honest: I could care less. This one was lucky to avoid being drowned in a trap. And when exactly does the man in the house go to jail over this? I mean, it sure was some dead beaver that got Phil Spector all jammed up; ditto for Ted Bundy and many others.

No, no, no. It's "I could NOT care less." Americans always get this wrong. If the amount I care = zero, it is not possible for me to care less ("I couldn't care less"). However The amoutn I care = some amount, it is possible for me to care less. SO if you say "I could care less" - it means you do care about it.

Another one of these is when someone says, "That's a moot point" meaning that the discussion is over and that it has been decided. Actually, Moot means "Subject to debate, dispute, or uncertainty, and typically not admitting of a final decision." There is even Moot Court where people debate things. So you should be saying "That's not a moot point" or "That's a decided, definite, proven, or resolved point."
