It's funny how he is asking for asylum in Russia, if he had been working for the Russian government and had released any document about them, he would have been immediately neutralized, end of story. What we have to remember here is that he violated the terms of the confidentiality agreement he signed with the NSA, this is what he will be charged with, and, although innocent until proven guilty, it appears that he did violate that agreement and for that he has to answer.
