When my father was serving there in the RAF during WW2, this region was called Palestine. The 'state' of Israel is an artificial construction within that region. Is it so hard to understand the animosity of the locals? I don't much like Russell Brand and I'm not pro-Islam, but really, against a tw*t like Hannity, it's a no-contest. Russell, keep setting the record straight!

I can't play an instrument, or act, or write, or paint, or do anything at all really. When do I get my say? Oh, I know, I'll marry someone else talentless (except for parading around half naked). Brand is the product of our times. When asked recently, a huge majority of schoolkids aged 10 or under said when they grew up, they wanted to 'be famous'. Like Mr. Brand, perhaps? Sixth form politics. Feck off and get a job.

Why do you attack Russell Brand rather than what he says? I quite like his manner, but I can see why a lot of people don't. I think he often comes up with interesting angles - like how he described "reality", starting at 3:20.

"Hannity makes a lot more sense than Russell does!"

The Dunning Krugar effect is in full flow right there - you're just too stupid to be aware of how stupid you are!

One of the problems with stupid people who dont fully understand the Dunning Krugar effect, is that they cite the Dunning Kruger effect inappropriately.

one of the problems with stupid people is that they think they're smart and everyone else is stupid when someone makes a mistake:

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias manifesting in unskilled individuals suffering from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their ineptitude.

David Dunning and Justin Kruger of Cornell University conclude, "the miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others"

There's a similar effect when learning a new skill - for example, a musical instrument - once you get the hang of it, you're on top of the world, and think you're Steve Vai. But the better you get, the more you realise how shit you really are.

Russle Brand is an idiot. He says a lot of absolute tosh! How could anyone NOT attack him as aposed to what he says alone. When someone comes out with garbage almost every time they open their mouths, Why on earth would you listen to ANYTHING he has to say?

Hannity makes a lot more sense than Russell does!
