Anti-socialist libertarians shield neo-fascist/pharaohs. What an irony. Is freedom lost to a billionaire less sacred than freedom lost to big government?

“Amazon reported nearly $5.6 billion in U.S. profits and did not pay a nickel of federal income taxes on it.”

“And Trump’s new tax cut? It gives Amazon a $789 million tax break on deferred taxes.”

Those two statements seem to be conflicting. If you don’t pay a nickel of federal income taxes, there’s no need for a $789 million tax break. I don’t believe the 2017 tax figures have been released yet so it’s hard to tell how much they paid in 2017 but historically they do pay taxes. This report is just trying to get the public angry.

Amazon paid $177 million in income taxes in 2014, $273 million in 2015 and $412 million in 2016. If they paid zero in 2017, that would be an interesting anomaly considering they benefit from a $789 million tax break.

Absolute crap is spoken in this video.

“Amazon spent $13 million on lobbying.” Nobody cares. Jeff Bezos increases wealth by $275 million every single day so that $13 million is the same as buying a soda for him.
