“The current scenario is worse than the worst case scenario.”  Then the climate scientists did a poor job in their forecasts.  They clearly don’t know what they are doing.  You should never encounter a situation that is beyond the worst case scenario in a forecast.

In summary, Oman is hot as usual.  “Like the rest of the Persian Gulf, Oman generally has one of the hottest climates in the world” - Wikipedia

Wikipedia, the authority on climate. That's a good site to use for all references.

Maybe the climate forecasts wouldn't be as wrong as they are today if they all used Wikipedia as their source. Someone should suggest that.

Wikipedia seems to be the authority on every subject mentioned on Boreme.  If you dispute that Oman has one of the hottest climates in the world, then correct the Wikipedia page with the corrected information.

Sure, why not.  It seems to be used as the authority for many discussions here on this site so I thought I would use it too.  If you want to find another reference that debunks it, then go for it.

Let me get this straight.  You are using that sentence as your basis for proving that I'm hypocritical?  I don't see how that fits the definition.  Sorry but you'll need to be more clear or precise.

Wikipedia is okay as a reference unless there is another reference that contradicts it.  Then you have to make a determination which reference contains the accurate information.  If Wikipedia says X and thousands of other government and university sites say Y, then you can assume that Wikipedia is not accurate.

Oman is not "hot as usual". It just broke a record. By definition, that is not "as usual". Ironically, breaking records is now usual.

Are you trying to say that it is impossible for something to be usual if it breaks a record?  If I say that Jeff Bezos is rich as usual.  But then Jeff Bezos makes even more money and breaks his all-time record, is he still rich as usual?  Think about that.
