Jeff Bezos could give Africa $60 billion and still be richer than Bill Gates. JB: $163 billion, BG: $96 billion.

You could give away 90% of your own wealth and still have more than double of the adult male in Botswana.

Maybe, but maybe not. This is from Wikipedia: "... After a period of stagnation at the turn of the 21st century, the economy of Botswana resumed registering strong levels of growth, with GDP growth exceeding 6-7% targets. Botswana has been praised by the African Development Bank for sustaining one of the world's longest economic booms.[10] Economic growth since the late 1960s has been on par with some of Asia's largest economies. The government has consistently maintained budget surpluses and has extensive foreign-exchan ge reserves..." LINK I was surprised too.

How about this amazing fact: If Jeff Bezos gave Africa $60 billion, his worth would only drop to what it was 9 months ago. In January 2018, Bezos was worth $105 billion. LINK $15 billion more than Bill Gates at the time, or Botwana's GDP for 2017.
