Only an idiot or an activist would buy a new fully electric car at this stage.  Over-priced, fraught with production issues and technological faults, and at the mercy of a feeble recharging network that caters only for townies and those with off-road parking.  At least 22 years to buy and use new fossil fuelled cars, that'll do.  Let's not get started on plundering the finite resources of lithium, or the shamefully unethical and unsustainable supply of cobalt, both of which are critical for the manufacture of your 'safe', 'green', 'environmentally friendly' virtue-signalling prat pods.

Only a fool would buy a new fossil-fuelled car today. It will be worth next to nothing when the time comes to sell it. If electric doesn't suit you right now, buy second hand.

.... also work from home too. I’ve done my commuting... at its worst, one way door to door on public transport was over two hours each way. Surely in this digital age more jobs could be flexible enough to allow this. I can work a bit longer each day without the time, stress and cost ($¥£ and CO2) I guess some companies just want to see bums on seats in the office *sigh*

Latest comment:

If you are a frequent visitor to Boreme, you’d get the idea the only jobs available are at the Amazon Fulfillment center and it’s doubtful a job like that would let you work from home.
