It never occurred to them to turn off location services.  Wow, just wow.  Google also gives you the option to turn off the tracking as you can see from their own image.  They selected “I’m In” when they could have selected “Skip”.  So nothing to see here that’s of any importance.

There are settings to “Opt out of Ads Personalization” and to disable debug logging for ads.  Under “Google Location History” in settings you can turn off the feature that saves your location history.  There are many other settings you can customize if you just took the time to review them.

And now they want to assist China in sensoring information and indirectly help identify dissidents. Maybe it's time to stop using Google's products. I use them a lot, or should I say used.
