Latest comment:

“Pay the robot the same that you would pay a person.”  No problem. The robots don’t take breaks, they work 24 hours a day, don’t require healthcare benefits, and don’t leave you short for maternity leave.  Computers can do the job of thousands of people at one time.  Look at things like VRU that significantly reduces jobs at call centers.

i work in an analytics group in govt and the thing that scares the bejebus out of me is not artificial intelligence, it's artificial stupidity.

too many "data scientists" just scraped through their tensor flow certification to make money in ai and just throw models at small amounts of rubbish data badly over-fitting the model and releasing it without tests.

so get ready for all sorts of big ai failures.

also, this daft argument that without jobs blue collar workers will be un-happy. how happy can you be tossing burgers, plucking chicken or washing windscreens.

Not even sure about punctuation either, eh?  That interview for the governmental anayltics job must have been testing for you.  Choose better lies, Mr Mitty.  Tis a little tragic.
