None of the companies you mentioned are monopolies.  You can get similar services from alternate companies for all that you mentioned.

Given that everything required for life support to settle on Mars would HAVE to come from this planet, I think Elon Musk would be far better occupied trying to improve Earth before pressing on with his dream of colonising another rock in space.  Mankind has demonstrated that it's not capable of looking after the only planet on which we can survive without special equipment. We're polluting the air, sea, and huge tracts of land, burning vital rainforest as an obscene rate, melting the polar icecaps and can't/don't/won't tolerate other cultures, beliefs, skin colours or political leanings.  We are marching gleefully toward our own destruction and, as someone who is much closer to the end of their life than the start, I hold little hope for my grand and great grandchildren's futures, so I'd say "Improve and consolidate the long term future of this planet before racing off to settle on another for human vanity's sake".
